Janet Galloway Janet Galloway began Salsa dancing in Washington, DC. Since moving to Manhattan, KS in July 2011, she has expanded her knowledge of the dance and perfected the art of teaching Salsa through constantly seeking out amazing instructors. She partnered with Keith Givens, Latin Motion Dance Company’s Artistic Director, to create the only Latin Motion Performance Team operating outside of the local DC area. With her team of talented people, she has had the opportunity to support several local community organizations and taken her team to perform all over the country. Latin Motion – Manhattan, KS Team – has performed in California, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Washington, DC as well as at several events within Manhattan, KS.
Recently, Janet Galloway took advantage of the opportunity to train with Edie the Salsa Freak, an internationally known dancer who has performed all over the world. Janet was able to obtain her Purple and Blue Belt within Edie’s unique Black Belt Salsa System and plans to continue training through this program. With this system, the possibilities are endless. Students will now be taught utilizing a worldwide standard curriculum. She invites you to join a worldwide network of world class dancers through her classes. |
